The VOLTA-FMB-3 DD ITO 50 is a homogeneous polyurethane (TPU) conveyor belt built for hygienic, positive drive conveying on food and processing lines. Fabricated by Shipp Belting with a textured top surface and a LUG-profiled bottom, it is sprocket-driven rather than friction-driven — eliminating the mistracking, slippage, and heavy tensioning of conventional belts. The textured top improves product grip and release, while a rated working tension of 33.6 supports dependable performance under load.
As a single non-porous piece with no fabric plies, the belt resists moisture absorption and bacterial harboring and cleans quickly under repeated washdown. It is anti-static, both FDA compliant and USDA approved, and carries a blue cover for easy contaminant detection. With an operating range of −5°F to 140°F, a 3.15-inch minimum pulley diameter, and widths up to 60 inches, it performs reliably from chilled rooms through ambient processing — a durable, sanitary solution that lowers water, chemical, and downtime costs.
